Student counselling is a specific area of therapy and psychoanalysis that is offered by experienced professional counsellors. Research shows that students experience a high degree of anxiety, depression and stress and even more so than in the past. Mental health problems are even more prevalent in girls than boys, although the male of the species can still suffer a great deal. 

Student counselling separate from school or college 

Whilst schools and universities usually offer counselling in some form, students do not always feel comfortable about approaching staff at their place of education as they prefer to keep their feelings and problems separate. 

Many can suffer from panic attacks, phobias and eating disorders which is why seeing a student counsellor outside of your school, college or university can be a great help. They can see you when you are not with our friends or colleagues and appointments can be put in place at a time to suit you so that your studied will not be interfered with.
